is building /city living in the planet?

All living species need energy to live in the planet. Plants create their own energy therefore they rooted in the ground. Animals / birds need to find their energy therefore they have ability to move / fly. If we assume that buildings / city is a living then what is the energy? Where is source? What is the role of user?

Places are different for each different species in the living planet. Designing a building may be for single type of species but city is jungle where all the species need a place. 

  

City’s structure or pattern is Depend on what type of species are living in the city. It’s obvious any city not equal to another may be there might be some similarities. Understanding about species leads to best design. To understand others, designer should understand himself or herself.
